Three cheers for beauty, bounty, and history.

What I love about living in the Hudson Valley is being so close to all of the farmers that are growing the food that I choose to eat.

We need to be able to protect the Hudson Valley to preserve the farmland and all the natural, native plants and things that grow here.

Being out in nature is so important because it builds a connection to the mind and body.

Appreciation for the fresh air and abundant water.

The ecosystem — from the bee that's buzzing around us now, to the largest trees in the area — it should be protected because it's a beautiful natural resource.

My favorite thing about living in the Hudson Valley are the seasons. Seeing the minute changes that happen with every transition, and finding different ways to enjoy each one.

In a world where water is becoming a limited resource, we have a lot of it. It's fun to explore. That means good fishing, good kayaking, good swimming when it's hot, and I think we're all very lucky to have it.

It’s not just a place to live — it’s a home.

We've lived here for well over 40 years. We've raised our children here, and we've seen the quality of life improve as areas have grown in being protected.

The Hudson Valley really provides a lot of peace.

Besides the nature, you also have access to great little towns with awesome food, events, and culture.

We need to preserve the Hudson Valley for the future, for our kids, for the environment. We just have to save it!

The biodiversity of the area requires that river to remain clean and livable for all the flora and fauna that rely on the Hudson River.

Stepping up to ensure this beautiful place endures for future generations.

As the seasons get more and more extreme, I think it gets really hard on all of our bodies and all of the plants and animals. So we really need to protect the Hudson Valley and keep it a place that we can live in harmony with nature.

The diversity of plant and wild life should be protected because, unfortunately, like everywhere in the world there's development and pressure for things to grow and there has to be a balance so that our beautiful, rural character is preserved.
