What I love about living in the Hudson Valley is being so close to all of the farmers that are growing the food that I choose to eat.
The Hudson Valley should be protected because it's such a great resource for self care.
One of the things I most love about living in the Hudson Valley is all of the farms that are growing our vegetables, that are raising animals sustainably, that are focused on the health and well-being of our environment.

What I like about the Hudson Valley is easy access to diverse natural surroundings right out our back door. From rivers and lakes and mountains, in all the seasons they have something for everyone.
It should be protected because just like any living thing it should be saved, like taking care of ourselves.
The Hudson Valley has been discovered! It's wonderful that it's being used and enjoyed, but I think it needs to be really carefully planned for this new increase in population.

It’s not just a place to live — it’s a home.
When you just come here and you see the involvement of people to keep this Hudson Valley going, that passion is what attracts me here. Humans don't live on islands, they are part of nature.
Besides the nature, you also have access to great little towns with awesome food, events, and culture.
I love that we have well-defined, four seasons that inspire the human spirit and creativity, but you don't have to be an artist or a poet to appreciate it.
The Hudson Valley combines a lot of cultural resources with a lot of natural splendor. When we have places like this that we value, we need to protect them for other people to discover.
Our community needs nature because it is essential to good physical health and mental health. The pandemic has revealed the importance of having time outdoors. And also for raising kids — access to nature is hugely important for their development.

Stepping up to ensure this beautiful place endures for future generations.
The Hudson Valley should be protected because I have a deep belief in the ideals of, "carry it forward to the seventh generation." At the rate we're going, if we don't, there may not be a seventh generation, never mind all this beauty to present to them.
