Proteger Tierras

Proteger
land

We've lost two-thirds of all wildlife since 1970. So it's not only beautiful, it's vital, and we need every inch of land that we can save.

One of the things I most love about living in the Hudson Valley is all of the farms that are growing our vegetables, that are raising animals sustainably, that are focused on the health and well-being of our environment.

Starting back with the ice age, and moving on to the First Peoples and the early Dutch settlements, you can see its history in the contours of the land.

I'm from New York City and I love coming up here to the Hudson Valley just to get out of the city and get some fresh air. It just has a lot of identity.

We must protect the Hudson River because it is the source of our civilization. Water is life and connects us all together.

Artists need the Hudson Valley!

It is up to us, and up to everyone, to conserve it, to preserve it. And everyone should be a part of it.

The Hudson Valley is a cradle of human services and natural resources that benefit the whole state.

I love that we have a sense of community here, and that sense of community often revolves around seasons and growth.

The Hudson Valley should be protected because I have a deep belief in the ideals of, "carry it forward to the seventh generation." At the rate we're going, if we don't, there may not be a seventh generation, never mind all this beauty to present to them.
